Rafael Kalamat
For 20+ years Rafael Kalamat has been involved in golf and media. Playing golf from the age of 9 and after having a competitive junior run in sports that also included soccer, hockey and cycling on the international stage, Rafael then continued his studies in both film and television and professional golf management. Rafael became a certified golf teaching professional while playing mini tour golf and shortly after became a member to organizations such as Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television, and Radio Artists & The Canadian Media Producers Association where he worked as an actor, producer, writer, director and golf radio analyst. His golf coaching and instruction career has taken him to several world class establishments such as The Royal Montreal Golf Club and destinations such as Florida, Dubai & the Caribbean. Presently co-producing and hosting The Golf Podcast Live. Rafael resides with his wife Joanna, son Adam and dog Eevee in Toronto, Canada.
Michael Bleackley
Co-host Michael “Bleaks” Bleackley combines a rich amateur golf pedigree with digital media expertise.
As CEO of a digital media agency based in the heart of Vancouver, he is a social media, web content and marketing specialist.
Equally at home both in the nightclub and the clubhouse, Mike is also a professional DJ since 1990 specializing in House Music playing alongside many globally recognized DJ’s.
Being the Grandson of a former Ontario Women’s champion and Great-grandson of a former St Andrews’ superintendent, golf runs in Mike’s blood, he has competed in over 250 amateur golf tournaments including 4 wins on the Vancouver Golf Tour and dozens of top 10 finishes. He strives to improve his game year over year with the intent of attempting to Monday qualifying for PGA Champions Tour events.
